BI653 : Medical Equipement

This module aims to provide students with a thorough understanding of the technical, organizational, and regulatory aspects of biomedical equipment maintenance. 

By the end of this module, students will be able to:
  • Understand the structure and functions of the healthcare system.
  • Recognize the various responsibilities of a biomedical engineer.
  • Become familiar with a wide range of medical devices and related software.
  • Learn key principles in managing the maintenance of biomedical equipment.
Upon completing this module, students will be well-prepared for roles such as biomedical engineer, biomedical maintenance technician or manager.
