Aims and Objectives:

This is an opening introductory course in the discipline of Linguistics. Learning outcomes described below are planned in a way that contributes to meeting degree-level expectations in the following areas: depth and breadth of knowledge and mastery of the linguistic concepts and terminologies, knowledge of methodologies, that should be adequately adopted for any research application of knowledge, and communication skills.
