    Welcome to my Course!

    Welcome to English for Mathematics Students! This course is designed to help you develop the English language skills you need to study, communicate, and succeed in mathematics-related contexts. Throughout the course, you will use Moodle to access materials, participate in activities, submit assignments, and track your progress. We will focus on mathematical vocabulary, reading and understanding problem statements, and expressing ideas clearly in written and spoken English. I look forward to working with you and supporting you as you build confidence in using English for your academic studies.

  • Targeted Skills

    Students are guided to an understanding of the target language, and directed to mastering rules for their own benefit throughout Speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as grammar exercises are provided to consolidate the target language.

    Language is used for mathematical purposes, where at  least one reading text per unit is intergrated with various writting activities. At least one listening activity is also intergrated with speaking activity.
