1st advice: start to think from this day, about which field, which subject you want to explore through your thesis,
(ask previous master students, discuss with your lecturers, discuss the opinions outside university (manufacturers, farmers, industrials....) about the problems they face,
2nd advice: visit your university's library, look for the thesis done before in your speciality, or specialities related to yours, ask also the help of librarians... write down the ideas that interest you, took picture or do a copy of pages that interest you....
3rd advice: start thinking about ideas for your research, for your question research... write everything in your notebook, through all this semestre keep the notebook with you, in your courses, in the library, doing your homework, each new idea that lights up your mind, write it... later you can return to it, and develop it, but for the beginnig just write it (perhaps with a short explanation between brackets), because if you don't your ideas, will flew away
