    Introduction to Materials Chemistry

    Students are required to prepare the lesson by answering some questions sent to them before the lecture, they are as follows:

    1- What is materials chemistry?

    2- What is the role of materials chemistry?

    3- What are the benefits of materials chemistry?

    4- What are the main types of materials in chemistry? give examples

    5- What is the role of a materials chemist?

    6- History of materials chemistry.

    Step one: students answer the different questions by speaking and oral participation in.

    Step two: the teacher dictates the answers to evaluate the learners' spelling errors.

    Step three: a translation task is given to the learners from the passages of the above titles.

    Homework: The teacher asks the students to write a short essay introducing Materials Chemistry, including the above questions as ideas for their paragraphs.

    Students were asked to write a short essay as homework. Unfortunately, they showed little mastery of essay writing.

    This lecture is designed for a revision of paragraph and essay writing in terms of form and structure.
